Colorado Reverse Mortgage is owned and operated by Bruce Simmons.   However, Bruce actually works for a much larger corporation that has been in business since 1852 (over 150 years), and has been in the reverse mortgage business since 1995.

Bruce Simmons has personally been helping seniors out with reverse mortgages since January of 2003 and has been working for this much larger corporation since September of 2003.

You could say that Bruce stumbled into reverse mortgages back when he owned a small, one man mortgage company.  He was putting together a web-site for his business and discovered that reverse mortgage was a profitable key word (at the time, more people were searching for the term than there were web-sites for it).  At that time in his life, Bruce actually thought that reverse mortgages were a rip-off because he thought that the bank took the home (he was a bit ignorant in his youth). 

However, once he learned how reverse mortgages worked, and the benefits that they offer for the right person, he decided to add a few pages to his web-site.  They were immediately the most productive pages of his entire site. 

But there was still a problem.  Most of the people requesting information about reverse mortgages were from out of state and he could only do loans in the state of Colorado.  So Bruce did his best to think  seriously  about working for a national company as a full time reverse mortgage specialist.  So that is what he did and he's been working for the same company  ever since.

In 2004, the company offered a reverse mortgage web-site for their employees and allowed them to create what they called a "vanity" web name.  Bruce chose Colorado-Reverse-Mortgage.com and has owned the name ever since.  But just before building this site at the end of 2009, he thought he'd better also register the name with the sate of  Colorado as well.  So that is how Colorado Reverse Mortgage came to be.

So if you conduct a state search for Colorado Reverse Mortgage, it will look like it's only been in business since 2009, but Bruce has been in the reverse mortgage field since January of 2003 and the comapny he wrks for has been in business much, much longer and in the reverse mortgage business since 1995.
